Wound Swab for C/S
The Wound Swab for C/S (Culture and Sensitivity) test is used to identify bacterial or fungal infections in a wound. A sterile swab is used to collect a sample from the wound site, which is then sent to a laboratory for culture. The test helps identify the microorganisms causing the infection and determines which antibiotics or antifungals will be most effective. No special preparation is usually needed.
