Venography of Both LIMB
Venography of both limbs is a diagnostic imaging procedure used to examine the veins in both legs. It involves injecting a contrast dye into the veins, followed by X-ray imaging to visualize the blood vessels. This test is primarily used to detect conditions like deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins, venous insufficiency, or blockages in the veins. During the procedure, the patient may be asked to lie still while the dye is injected, and the X-ray images are taken.
