USG of Chest(F729)
An Ultrasound (USG) of the Chest (F729) is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the chest area, including the lungs, pleura, heart, and surrounding structures. It helps detect conditions such as pleural effusion (fluid around the lungs), pneumonia, lung masses, or abnormalities in the heart or major blood vessels. During the procedure, a gel is applied to the chest area, and a probe (transducer) is moved over the skin to emit sound waves and create real-time images.
