Uroflowmetry
Uroflowmetry is a diagnostic test used to measure the rate and pattern of urine flow during urination. It helps assess how well the bladder and urethra are functioning. The patient is asked to urinate into a special device called a uroflowmeter, which records the volume of urine and the time it takes to pass. The test provides information on urinary flow rate, which can help diagnose conditions like urinary tract obstruction, bladder dysfunction, or prostate problems in men.
