Urine for Wet Film
The Urine for Wet Film test is used to examine the presence of microorganisms, crystals, or cells in the urine under a microscope. A small amount of urine is placed on a microscope slide, mixed with a drop of saline, and covered with a cover slip for examination. No special preparation is typically required. Risks are minimal, with slight discomfort during collection. The test helps identify infections, kidney stones, or other urinary conditions. Abnormal findings may require further investigation.
