The Corresponding Urine Sugar with 1 Hr. ABF test measures the level of glucose (sugar) in the urine one hour after a meal, alongside the 1-hour postprandial blood glucose (ABF) test. This combined test helps evaluate how the body processes glucose after eating and how efficiently insulin is regulating blood sugar. Normally, glucose is not present in the urine, as the kidneys reabsorb it. If glucose is detected in the urine, it suggests hyperglycemia or inadequate insulin function.
