Abscess Fluid for Anti TB IgA
Abscess Fluid for Anti-TB IgA is a diagnostic test that detects IgA antibodies against Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the fluid collected from an abscess. The presence of these antibodies can indicate an ongoing tuberculosis (TB) infection, particularly in extrapulmonary TB where TB affects organs outside the lungs. The fluid is tested to assess the immune response to the TB bacteria. The procedure involves collecting fluid from the abscess, which is then analyzed in a laboratory.
