CBC, ESR
CBC (Complete Blood Count) is a broad screening test that evaluates overall health and detects a variety of disorders, such as anemia, infection, and many other diseases. It measures several components of the blood, including: Red blood cells (RBCs): Carry oxygen White blood cells (WBCs): Fight infection Hemoglobin: Oxygen-carrying protein in RBCs Hematocrit: Proportion of blood made up of RBCs Platelets: Help with blood clotting ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) is a test that measures how quickly red blood cells settle at the bottom of a test tube in one hour. A higher rate can indicate inflammation, infection, or other medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, or autoimmune diseases.
