Urine for Specific Gravity
The Urine for Specific Gravity test measures the concentration of particles in urine, indicating the kidney's ability to concentrate or dilute urine. A urine sample is collected, and a refractometer or dipstick is used to measure specific gravity. No special preparation is needed. Risks are minimal, with slight discomfort during collection.
