Urine for C/S
The Urine C/S (Culture and Sensitivity) test is used to identify bacterial or fungal infections in the urinary tract. A urine sample is collected and cultured to grow any microorganisms present. The sensitivity part of the test determines which antibiotics or antifungal medications will be most effective in treating the infection. No special preparation is usually required. Risks are minimal, with slight discomfort during the collection. Positive results indicate an infection, while negative results suggest no growth of pathogens. Sample contamination can affect accuracy. Normal activities can be resumed after the test.1200 BDT
