Ultrasonogram of PVR & Prostate
An Ultrasonogram of PVR (Post-Void Residual) & Prostate is an ultrasound procedure that combines the assessment of bladder function and prostate health. The PVR portion measures the amount of urine left in the bladder after urination, helping diagnose conditions like urinary retention or bladder outlet obstruction. The Prostate scan evaluates the size, shape, and any abnormalities in the prostate gland, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate cancer.
