SSF from Lt. Cheek
SSF (Superficial Scraping for Fungi) from the left cheek is a diagnostic test used to detect fungal infections on the skin of the cheek. Fungal infections on the face can include conditions like tinea corporis (ringworm), Candida infections, or other dermatophyte-related conditions. The cultured sample allows fungi to grow, and sensitivity testing may be done to identify the most appropriate antifungal treatment.
