SSF from Face
SSF (Superficial Scraping for Fungi) from the face is a diagnostic test used to detect fungal infections on the skin of the face. The procedure involves scraping a small sample from the affected area, which is then sent to a laboratory for culture. Common fungal infections that affect the face include tinea (ringworm), Candida, or other dermatophyte infections.
