MRI of Scapula/Clavicle (Rt/Lf)
An MRI of the scapula/clavicle (right/left) is an imaging procedure that provides detailed images of the shoulder blade (scapula) and collarbone (clavicle). It is used to diagnose conditions such as fractures, arthritis, rotator cuff injuries, tendon or ligament tears, and bone tumors in the shoulder area. The procedure requires no special preparation, though metal objects must be removed. During the scan, you will lie still in the MRI machine for 20-30 minutes.
