HBsAgQ2
The HBsAg Quantitative Test (HBsAgQ2) measures the amount of Hepatitis B surface antigen in the blood. It is used to monitor chronic Hepatitis B infection, assess disease progression, and evaluate the effectiveness of antiviral therapy. A blood sample is drawn from a vein, and no special preparation is required. Results are reported in International Units per milliliter (IU/mL); higher levels indicate active infection or replication, while declining levels may suggest treatment success or disease resolution. The procedure is low-risk, with minor bruising being the most common side effect. Regular monitoring helps guide treatment decisions and assess long-term prognosis.2500 BDT
