This scan is commonly used to evaluate conditions such as sinusitis, infections, tumors, cysts, or structural abnormalities in the nasal passages or sinus cavities. No special preparation is typically required, but you may be asked to remove metal objects. During the procedure, you will lie still in the MRI machine for 20-30 minutes.
