An ultrasonogram of the HBS (Hepatobiliary System), KUB (Kidneys, Ureters, and Bladder), prostate, and PVR (Post-Void Residual) is a diagnostic imaging procedure using sound waves to examine these organs. The purpose is to assess liver, gallbladder, kidney, bladder, and prostate health, as well as to measure the amount of urine remaining in the bladder after urination (PVR). The procedure is non-invasive, requiring no special preparation except possibly fasting for HBS. Risks are minimal, though mild discomfort may occur.
