TC - RBC
TC - RBC (Total Count of Red Blood Cells) is a blood test that measures the number of red blood cells in a specific volume of blood. RBCs transport oxygen from the lungs to the body and carry carbon dioxide back for exhalation. Normal RBC counts vary by age, gender, and health status. Abnormal counts can indicate health issues: a low RBC count (anemia) may result from nutritional deficiencies, blood loss, or chronic diseases, while a high RBC count (polycythemia) could suggest dehydration, lung disease, or bone marrow disorders.
