PORTABLE XRAY CXR OBLIQUE
A portable X-ray of the chest (CXR) oblique is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the chest from an angled perspective, typically at 45 degrees. This view helps to better visualize the lungs, heart, ribs, and surrounding structures, particularly when the standard anteroposterior (AP) or lateral views do not provide enough detail. The oblique view is useful for detecting conditions such as lung infections, pneumonia, rib fractures, and tumors, as well as evaluating the heart and pleural space.
