During the test, a healthcare provider performs a procedure called paracentesis to collect fluid from the abdomen. Risks include infection, bleeding, or injury to surrounding organs. After the test, patients may experience mild discomfort or bloating. Results indicate the presence of IgA antibodies, confirming TB infection.
