MRI Enterography
MRI Enterography is a specialized imaging technique used to visualize the small intestine and surrounding structures, primarily for diagnosing gastrointestinal conditions. It helps detect issues like Crohn’s disease, tumors, inflammation, or blockages. During the procedure, you will drink a contrast liquid to help highlight the intestines, and an MRI scan is performed while you lie still on a table. Sometimes, a contrast dye may also be injected into a vein to enhance the images. Typically, no special preparation is required, but fasting for several hours before the test may be necessary.
