MRA OF ABDOMINAL VESSEL
MRA of the abdominal vessels is a non-invasive imaging test that uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to assess the blood vessels in the abdomen, such as the aorta, renal arteries, and mesenteric vessels. The procedure involves lying inside an MRI scanner while the machine takes detailed images, often with the help of a contrast dye injected into a vein to enhance visibility. No special preparation is usually required, but fasting for a few hours before the test may be recommended. Risks include allergic reactions to contrast dye and slight discomfort from lying still.
