It combines a 4D ultrasound with fetal heart rate monitoring to evaluate five key aspects: fetal movements, fetal breathing, muscle tone, amniotic fluid volume, and heart rate. The 4D ultrasound provides real-time, dynamic images, offering a detailed view of the fetus in motion. Each parameter is scored, with a total score out of 10. A score of 8 or higher is generally reassuring, while a lower score may indicate the need for closer monitoring or intervention.
