Digital X-Ray of Sacro-Coccygeal spine AP & Lateral View
A digital X-ray of the sacro-coccygeal spine in both anteroposterior (AP) and lateral views is used to assess the sacrum and coccyx (tailbone) for conditions such as fractures, dislocations, or abnormalities in alignment. During the procedure, the patient is positioned to capture two clear images: one from the front (AP view) and one from the side (lateral view). This non-invasive test typically requires no special preparation. Radiation exposure is minimal but present.
