Digital X-Ray of S. I. Joint PA view
A digital X-ray of the sacroiliac (S.I.) joint in the posteroanterior (PA) view is used to assess the sacroiliac joints for conditions like inflammation, degeneration, or other structural abnormalities. During the procedure, the patient is positioned with the front of the body facing the X-ray machine to capture a clear image of the S.I. joints from the back. This non-invasive test usually requires no special preparation. Radiation exposure is minimal but present.
