A digital X-ray of the right shoulder joint in anteroposterior (AP), lateral, internal rotation, and external rotation views is performed to assess the shoulder’s bones and joints for fractures, dislocations, arthritis, or other abnormalities. During the procedure, the shoulder is positioned to capture multiple images: the AP and lateral views provide standard front and side perspectives, while the internal and external rotation views help assess the shoulder's joint alignment and mobility when the arm is rotated inward or outward. This non-invasive test typically requires no special preparation. Radiation exposure is minimal.
