A digital X-ray of the right knee joint in anteroposterior (AP) and lateral views, taken in a standing position, is used to assess the bones and joints of the knee for conditions such as fractures, arthritis, or joint degeneration. In this procedure, the patient stands with their weight evenly distributed on the affected leg while the knee is positioned to capture clear images from both the front (AP view) and the side (lateral view). This non-invasive test requires no special preparation. Radiation exposure is minimal but present.
