A digital X-ray of the right index finger in both anteroposterior (AP) and lateral views is used to evaluate the bones and joints of the finger for fractures, dislocations, or other abnormalities. The procedure involves positioning the index finger to capture two clear images: one from the front (AP view) and one from the side (lateral view). This non-invasive test typically requires no special preparation. While radiation exposure is minimal, it is still present.
