Digital X-Ray of Rt. Heel with Ankle AP and Lat View
A digital X-ray of the right heel with ankle, in both anteroposterior (AP) and lateral views, is used to evaluate the bones and joints of the heel and ankle for fractures, bone spurs, or other abnormalities. During the procedure, the foot and ankle are positioned to capture clear images from both the front (AP view) and side (lateral view). This non-invasive test usually requires no special preparation, though the patient may need to adjust their position for optimal imaging. Radiation exposure is minimal but present.
