CT Scan of Ears
CT Scan of Ears is an imaging procedure used to assess the structures of the ear, including the middle ear, inner ear, and surrounding bones (temporal bones). It helps diagnose conditions such as ear infections, cholesteatomas (abnormal skin growths), mastoiditis, ear fractures, or tumors. The scan provides detailed images of the ear canal, ossicles (small bones in the ear), and eustachian tube. Contrast dye may be used to enhance the visibility of soft tissues.
