CT Cisternography / Cisternogram is an imaging procedure used to visualize the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and the spaces within the brain (ventricles and subarachnoid space). It is typically used to detect CSF leaks, arachnoid cysts, hydrocephalus, or brain and spinal cord abnormalities. During the procedure, a contrast dye is injected into the CSF (usually via a lumbar puncture), and CT imaging is used to track the flow and distribution of the fluid.
