X-Ray of Pelvis Modified Ferguson (M.F.) View
The Modified Ferguson (M.F.) view of the pelvis X-ray is used primarily to assess the sacroiliac joints and the lower lumbar spine, particularly in cases of trauma or suspected pelvic fractures. In this view, the patient is positioned with a slight oblique angle, tilting the pelvis forward at a 30–40° angle. This positioning allows for a clearer view of the pelvic ring and sacrum, helping to identify abnormalities such as fractures, dislocations, or degenerative changes.
