Vaginal Swab for C/S
The Vaginal Swab for C/S (Culture and Sensitivity) test is used to identify bacterial or fungal infections in the vaginal area. A sterile swab is taken from the vaginal walls and sent to a lab for culture, allowing the identification of any pathogens present and determining which antibiotics or antifungals would be most effective. No special preparation is usually required. Risks include mild discomfort or irritation during the swabbing process. A positive result indicates an infection, while a negative result suggests no bacterial or fungal growth. Normal activities can be resumed after the test.2500 BDT
