Urine for RBC (Morphology)
The Urine for RBC (Morphology) test examines the shape and size of red blood cells (RBCs) in the urine to identify underlying causes of hematuria (blood in urine). A urine sample is collected and analyzed under a microscope to assess RBC morphology. No special preparation is usually required. Risks are minimal, with slight discomfort during collection. Abnormal RBC morphology may indicate kidney disease, urinary tract injury, or infections. A negative result suggests no RBCs or normal shapes, while abnormal findings may require further investigation. Normal activities can be resumed after the test.400 BDT
