Rose Waaler Test (Titre)

The Rose Waaler test (titre) is a blood test used to detect the presence of rheumatoid factor, an antibody often found in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or other autoimmune diseases. Steps: A blood sample is taken, and the serum is tested for rheumatoid factor. Preparation: No special preparation is needed. Risks: Minor risks include bruising or discomfort at the needle site. Interpretation: Higher levels of rheumatoid factor may suggest RA, but it can also be found in other conditions. Conditions: Infections, liver disease, and other autoimmune disorders may affect results.
