CSF for Anti TB IgM
CSF for Anti-TB IgM detects IgM antibodies specific to Mycobacterium tuberculosis in cerebrospinal fluid, useful for early detection of tuberculous meningitis. CSF is obtained via lumbar puncture and analyzed using immunoassays. Preparation requires fasting and sterile precautions. Risks include headache, infection, or bleeding from the procedure.
