X-Ray of Rt. Shoulder Jt. Axillary View

An X-ray of the right shoulder joint in the axillary view is used to evaluate the bones and soft tissues of the shoulder, particularly for detecting fractures, dislocations, or joint degeneration. In this view, the patient’s arm is raised and rotated to expose the shoulder from below, providing a clear image of the glenohumeral joint (where the humerus meets the scapula). This view is especially useful for assessing fractures of the proximal humerus, dislocations, and the alignment of the shoulder joint. No special preparation is required, but you may be asked to remove jewelry or clothing that could interfere with the imaging.
