Vulval swab for C/S
The Vulval Swab for C/S (Culture and Sensitivity) test is used to identify bacterial or fungal infections in the vulva. A sterile swab is taken from the vulvar area, and the sample is sent to a laboratory where it is cultured to grow any microorganisms present. The sensitivity part of the test determines which antibiotics or antifungal medications will be most effective for treatment. No special preparation is typically required.
