USG OF KUB, PROSTATE, MCC, PVR

An Ultrasound (USG) of KUB (Kidneys, Ureter, Bladder), Prostate, MCC (Maximum Cystometric Capacity), and PVR (Post-Void Residual Volume) is a diagnostic imaging procedure used to assess the urinary system and prostate health. The test involves using sound waves to create images of the kidneys, bladder, prostate, and urinary tract. For MCC, it evaluates the bladder's capacity, while PVR measures urine left in the bladder after urination. Preparation may include fasting or bladder filling. The procedure is non-invasive and generally safe, with minimal risks. Results are interpreted by the presence of abnormalities such as blockages, enlarged prostate, or incomplete bladder emptying.
