Urine for Sugar
The Urine for Sugar test detects glucose (sugar) in the urine, which can be a sign of diabetes or other metabolic disorders. A urine sample is collected, and a dipstick or chemical reagent is used to test for the presence of glucose. No special preparation is usually required. Risks are minimal, with slight discomfort during collection. A positive result may indicate uncontrolled diabetes or other conditions that affect glucose metabolism.
