MRV of Rt Lower Limb
Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV) of the right lower limb is a non-invasive imaging procedure used to assess the veins in the right leg. It is commonly used to diagnose conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous insufficiency, varicose veins, or other venous abnormalities. During the procedure, the patient lies on a table, and the right leg is positioned inside the MRI machine. MRV uses magnetic fields and radio waves to generate detailed images of the venous system, often with the help of a contrast agent to enhance vein visualization.
