A Digital X-Ray of the mandible in the posterior-anterior (PA) view captures the lower jaw from the front. This view is useful for detecting fractures, misalignments, infections, or abnormalities in the bone structure, teeth, or temporomandibular joint (TMJ). During the procedure, the patient typically stands or sits, and the X-ray machine captures the image from the front of the jaw. Minimal preparation is required, such as removing any metal objects.
