Corresponding Urine Sugar with 2HABF

The Corresponding Urine Sugar with 2H ABF test measures the level of glucose in the urine 2 hours after the 2-hour postprandial blood glucose (ABF) test. The ABF refers to the blood glucose level taken 2 hours after eating, and this test helps assess how the body processes glucose following a meal. The corresponding urine sugar test checks if glucose appears in the urine at this time. Normally, glucose should not be present in the urine unless blood sugar levels are significantly elevated. If glucose is detected in the urine, it suggests hyperglycemia or impaired glucose metabolism, which may indicate diabetes mellitus or insulin resistance. This test is useful for monitoring postprandial glucose control and assessing the effectiveness of diabetes treatment.
