CBC, ESR

CBC (Complete Blood Count) is a broad screening test that evaluates overall health and detects a variety of disorders, such as anemia, infection, and many other diseases. It measures several components of the blood, including: Red blood cells (RBCs): Carry oxygen White blood cells (WBCs): Fight infection Hemoglobin: Oxygen-carrying protein in RBCs Hematocrit: Proportion of blood made up of RBCs Platelets: Help with blood clotting ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) is a test that measures how quickly red blood cells settle at the bottom of a test tube in one hour. A higher rate can indicate inflammation, infection, or other medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, or autoimmune diseases. Both tests are used together to assess overall health, detect abnormalities, and monitor disease progression.
