Serum Albumin
Serum Albumin test measures the level of albumin in the blood, which is essential for maintaining fluid balance and transporting nutrients. It involves drawing a blood sample, usually from a vein in your arm. Preparation typically includes fasting for a few hours. Risks include minor discomfort, bruising, or infection at the needle site. Results are interpreted by comparing levels to a normal range (3.5-5.0 g/dL); low levels may indicate liver disease, kidney disorder, or malnutrition. Dehydration, pregnancy, or medications can affect results. No significant discomfort is expected during or after the test.225 BDT300 BDT
