MRI of KUB
MRI of the KUB (Kidneys, Ureters, and Bladder) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to assess the urinary system, including the kidneys, ureters, and bladder. It is particularly useful for diagnosing conditions that may not be visible on X-rays or ultrasound, such as kidney stones, tumors, cysts, hydronephrosis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and structural abnormalities. The procedure involves lying still in the MRI machine while powerful magnets and radio waves generate detailed images. Contrast dye may be used for clearer visualization of specific structures. Minimal preparation is required, with fasting recommended if contrast is used. Risks are minimal, with mild discomfort or rare allergic reactions. MRI of the KUB is an effective tool for evaluating urinary system conditions and guiding treatment.13500 BDT18000 BDT
