MRI of Face
MRI of the face is a diagnostic imaging procedure that provides detailed images of the facial region, including soft tissues, bones, muscles, and nerves. It is especially useful for evaluating conditions that may not be visible on X-rays or CT scans. MRI is ideal for diagnosing facial nerve disorders (e.g., Bell’s palsy), sinus issues, tumors, trauma, infections, TMJ disorders, and congenital malformations. The procedure involves lying still in the MRI scanner while high-resolution images are created using magnetic fields and radio waves. If needed, contrast dye may be injected to enhance tissue visibility. Risks are minimal and include mild discomfort or rare allergic reactions to contrast dye. MRI of the face helps guide diagnosis and treatment planning.9000 BDT12000 BDT
