MRI of Dorsal Spine With Screening Whole Spine
MRI of the dorsal spine with screening of the whole spine is a comprehensive imaging procedure used to evaluate the spinal cord, vertebrae, discs, and surrounding soft tissues. The MRI of the dorsal spine specifically focuses on the thoracic region (mid-back), while the whole spine screening provides a broader view, including the cervical (neck) and lumbar (lower back) regions. This test helps diagnose conditions like herniated discs, spinal stenosis, tumors, infections, or degenerative diseases. During the procedure, you will lie still in an MRI scanner, and a contrast dye may be used to enhance the images. Fasting is typically not required, but it may be needed if contrast is used. Risks include allergic reactions to the contrast dye and mild discomfort from staying still. The results offer a detailed assessment of spinal health.6000 BDT8000 BDT
