MRI & MRA combined with MRV of the brain is a comprehensive imaging approach used to assess the brain's structure, blood vessels, and venous circulation. MRI provides detailed images of the brain’s anatomy, MRA visualizes the arterial blood vessels, helping detect conditions like aneurysms or blockages, while MRV focuses on the venous system to evaluate conditions like venous thrombosis or abnormal blood flow. During the procedure, you'll lie inside an MRI scanner, and contrast dye may be injected to enhance image clarity. Fasting may be recommended, especially if contrast is used. Risks include allergic reactions to the contrast dye and mild discomfort from staying still.
