Duplex Study of Left Lower limb Vessels
A Duplex Study of the left lower limb vessels is a non-invasive diagnostic test that combines traditional ultrasound imaging with Doppler technology to assess the structure and blood flow in the arteries and veins of the left leg. This test is commonly used to diagnose conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), peripheral artery disease (PAD), venous insufficiency, or vascular blockages. During the procedure, a gel is applied to the skin, and a transducer is moved over the leg to capture images and measure blood flow. The test is generally painless, though mild discomfort from the pressure of the transducer may occur. Results help guide treatment decisions, including medication, compression therapy, or surgical interventions.2250 BDT3000 BDT
